More Than a Weekly Meeting
Community Groups are not another event to add to your calendar. They are an opportunity to experience the church as a family.
They are not separate from Sunday worship. They help us take what we hear and learn on Sunday and apply it throughout the week.
They are not inward-focused only. Healthy Christian community leads us outward as we serve our church, care for our neighbors, and share the love of Jesus.

A weekly gathering focused on Bible study, prayer, and authentic relationships where you can grow deeper in your walk with Christ alongside others.

A midweek community group studying scripture and sharing life together — building encouragement, accountability, and lasting friendships in Christ.
Women's Community Group

A dedicated gathering for women to study God's Word, pray together, and encourage one another in every season of life.
Church Is More Than a Building
The church was never intended to be a place where people simply attend a service and leave unchanged. The church is a people. It is a family formed through Jesus Christ.
Sin separates us from God and from one another. Jesus came to reconcile us to God and restore us to relationship with one another. As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, we also need relationships with other believers who will love us, encourage us, pray with us, challenge us, and walk alongside us.
That is why Community Groups matter so much at Grace Point. We invite you to build friendships, share life, make room for others, and experience the kind of authentic Christian community God designed His people to enjoy. This is not about adding another obligation to your week. It is an invitation into deeper relationships with God and His people.
Discipleship Happens in Community
At Grace Point Church, Community Groups are one of the primary places where discipleship, spiritual growth, and personal care take place. Sunday worship gathers us as one church to worship Jesus and hear biblical teaching. Community Groups give us space to talk through what we are learning, ask questions, pray for one another, and apply God's Word to our daily lives.

You do not need to know everyone. You do not need to have all the answers. You do not need to have your life perfectly together. A Community Group is one of the best places to begin building relationships at Grace Point Church.
If you are new to church, returning to church, exploring Christianity, or looking for a deeper connection with other believers, Community Groups give you a welcoming place to belong, ask questions, learn, and grow. Life brings challenges, questions, celebrations, disappointments, and change. We were never designed to experience all of it alone.
What Should I Expect at a Community Group?
Every Community Group has its own personality, but most gatherings include meaningful conversation, prayer, biblical discussion, fellowship, and opportunities to serve others. Many groups discuss the Sunday sermon. Others study a topic or work through a book of the Bible together.
Biblical Discussion
Studying Scripture and talking through how its message applies to everyday life.
Prayer & Encouragement
Praying for one another, sharing meals, and supporting each other through every season.
Life Together
Cookouts, dinners, birthday celebrations, bowling, and simply spending time together.
Serving Beyond
Helping a neighbor with yard work, visiting someone in the hospital, or serving in the Valdosta community.
